In the first 20 seconds I just imitated the politician speech notes. Half the video on, I arranged that melody in a way "listenable" as if listinening to a progressive rock composition. I'm typing way too many words, just hit play and see what I mean.

Like it? Well, I'd be honest with you. I don't like the show. (Yes, I'm one of those ones) I don't even dig the theme song, even though I totally understand the choice of the producers to pick such a piece of music for such a show.
I know too many people that tried to convince me Game of Thrones is amazing, so I took the opening theme and made it likable to my own tastes.
Maybe I'll give it another try :)
I don't even know what djent really means, but this is somewhat a genre caused by the perils of the band Meshuggah.
What I did here is taking a riff (18 notes long) and by twisting and turning it, I obtained several different riffs out of it. But never changed the rhythm of the riff itself.
Strangely, each developed riff sounds different from one another.

Quest'estate ho avuto l'opportunitá di suonare la mia chitarra sul main stage di Umbria Jazz, jammando con i New Orleans Mystics e la mia band Heavy Wood.
Un'esperienza unica.
Contrariamente a quello che si pensa, suonare davanti ad un pubblico enorme é parecchio piú semplice che farlo davanti ad una ventina di persone. Non solo, l'adrenalina che una folla puó trasmetterti, ti fa raggiungere un livello zen, misto di estasi musicale e condivisione con gli altri membri sul palco.
